Xbox 360 Video Compatibility

hey all

i don't have a x360 (cause they aren't out in AUS yet)... but i'm just wondering for when they do come out here... what kind of video files will it play happily (i'm pretty sure i read that you can play stuff streaming off a windows machine?)

main reason i ask is that i use my original xbox for playing movies and various other vids constantly and i wanna kno if i'm going to be able to use the 360 in a similar fashion or not?

if this has been answered before i'm sorry... just wanted to ask :)

hey there,
I currently have a xbox 360. I don't think it would be as powerfull as we currently have we the xbox. I have been able to stream pics and music but no videos yet.( I haven't try) from what I'm seeing you will need a PC with WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER PC, which is an OS by itself, that sucks.
