TOCA Race Driver 3

I don't know if this is the right forum to put this question, but here it goes.

I recently went out a purchased TOCA Race Driver 3. When I tried to backup the game to my hard drive it froze. It froze on a file 01566257402957006257349845861827402934985700405555 62284851270848501 then after that the numbers went off the screen. I am using DVD2Xbox 0.6.6. I am able to play it fine when I put the game in and load it up like normal. I was wondering is this happening to anyone else ? Does anyone know what could be wrong ?

Same prob here can copy to hardrive but wil not load keeps freezing on evox loading screen i use dvd xbox 7.4, have you got a rd2 save as rd3 is picking this up and this could be problem.Have been playing rd2 from hardisc but when loaded rd3 could not play rd2 either am using Pal ver uk.

toca3 does work off hdd perfectly ok.
I'm running nkpatcher, and used iso ripper to rip the original toca3 to hdd.
You end up with 2 iso's, part1 and part 2, part 1 is 4 gig and this is the file you need to burn to dvd, or just use the xbe that iso ripper has created tp play from hdd.
THIS WAY OF BACKING UP IS 100% WORKING AND PLAYABLE WITH NO GAMESAVE CORRUPTION OR CRASH ON FIRST SAVE.

Thanks for the suggestions. To answer some of the questions.

I do not have any previous TOCA on my Xbox. This game is the first and only. I am using the NTSC version of this game.

The nkpatcher is this some thing I would have to install on my computer and try to rip from there, or is it something I would have to put on my x-box?

driveimageutils-v1.0.1 - you can get this from xbins, it includes *iso ripper* that you put into ya apps on xbox.
Nkpatcher- is allso for the xbox as it is what is used to softmod with in tn the new softmod installers.
Both apps are for xbox and not pc
1) transfer iso ripper to apps on xbox, reboot
2) Put original toca3 into dvd player
3) Start iso ripper, it will stick on black screen or loading screen, this is ok as its ripping, give it an hour and your dashboard will be running again.

Goto games and there will be toca3 on ya hdd ready to play. Now you can ftp part1.iso from the toca3 games folder to pc and burn, perfectly working backup, this may not work with chipped boxes?
The xbe, in the toca3 folder is for hdd play only as it boots the part1.iso, allso editing part1.iso in anyway will fook it up ok.
YOU NEED TO HAVE AN UPGRADED HDD WITH 7GIG FREE FOR THIS TO WORK

i've made the backup of my original toca3 and it works very well
but when i try to copy into hd of xbox (about 120Gb, 70 gb free) the applaction dvd2xbox stopped because it is a file with a long extension

somewhere i read that if i had a hardmod (like me) i can't play toca3 from hd of xbox, but only fron dvd player

can someone help me?

i to was wondering about thehard modd question.isnt the nkpatcher used to partition the hdd.i have a 4983 bios for the xecuter lite.was wondering all i have to do is use the iso ripper app and thats it.

ya it would be nice if someone could patch this game for harddrive use .. hardmod harddrive use .. my dvd player sux , makes way to much noise and the load times are brutal :]

Oh i remember this problem :)
But i don't remember how i fixed it, was there a patch or another tool to ripp it, this game has 2 files with very long filenames.
If you didn't find a solution just tell me the name of those 2 files, i could upload them for you.
