edit: changed title as it should work on both mods.
GCOS Special Version for Wiinja Modchip
What's it do?:
Boots all region Gamecube games (original or legal backups)
Explore ISO9660 discs up to 4.7gb(?) and launch DOL/ELF
How to:
Insert this disc into your Wiinja'd Wii and boot it.
Eject it and put in your favourite GC game and boot!
Requirements:
Wii
Wiinja
GC Game
Websites:
www.gamecubeos.com
www.wiinja.com
Tested by Wiinja owner, so it does work.
Source included but to get it working I wrote a pre-loader which i'm not going to post here due to it being a bit hard to work and all i would get is non-stop questions. Basically, the GPL'd code is all here for peeps to modify later on etc if they discover anything new.

Nope, not even going to bother trying.

Mhh.. well.. In the Gamecube mode where you start the GC-Homebrew (GCOS) it's not possible to start the special functions of the Wii, right? That should be the only problem, shouldn't be?

You can Burn GCOS on a normal-sized DVD. It should be no problem. Its the same as the gc backups. They were also only 1,4gb big and were able to get working on the gamecube.

The Wiinja just sends data to the Wii's DVD-ROM. It tells the drive that it has already checked the copy protection. So the Wii's DVD-ROM skips the copy protection parts of its code and loads up the game.
The Wiinja can not communicate with other parts of the Wii, so it can not run code stored on itself.

No, it's not. You can run homebrew but not backups

Looks like things will have to be stream fixed if the mod doesn't support it, but I think GCOS can work it out.

Does this bootdisk works with XenoGC? Or with CicloWiz?
Thanks Emukid for your great work!!!!!

@emu_kid: A region free mod for Wii originals would be nice. But I understand your conflict: Atm there's no known method to distinguish between backups and originals with a dvd-drive-modchip installed.

in order to do that you would need to find a way to get unsigned code to boot in wii mode witch nobody knows how to do yet its not a moral delema its just not possiple

it should work with any chip that can boot in GC code simmalar to freeloader sept it can also support gamecube homebrew
nice work emu kid btw!

The Audiofix has been added to the Wiinja's feature list on www.wiinja.com. Stealth mode is also on board, as it seems.

WOW ! great release many tahks Emu_Kidid !!
let me get this straight...with 1.x on GC we could load .iso from an iso9660... now with Wii we have a full size DVD... we can run 4.7Go DVDRs full of isos... can anybody try with DVDR9 ?? (the Wii is capable of reading dvd9 supposedly)
(multi-disc would be very nice too, and force progressive scanline)
(I juste tried my US RE4 (original) on my pal GC with 1.x...in-game progressive scanline mode work but when I popped in disc two I was told the disc was no correct...)
thanks again ^^

MultiDisc is not there unless you own a modchip. Also, you need to wait for a modchip or a newer version of wiinja to be released to have multigame discs supported. GCOS can't create the support for it using software, it has to be done on the modchip this time around, and then GCOS can utilize it.
