Now that N64 titles have appeared in the VC and are "kinda" playing flawlessly on the Wii, has anyone started working (or progressing) on a gamecube N64 emulator. I finally got the new "homebrew loader" from Datel. It is pretty cool. I tried renaming a generic rom to *.bin. It appears in the menu as a selectable file. However, when selected, the screen just goes black. I was thinking on possibly porting roms to a vc channel....
any ideas...

The ghost data in Mario Kart is dysfunctional. Even NinTenDo has admitted the fault and has no plans for a fix. My guess is that given the two titles released so far, the next titles will follow the same game engine (ie Ocarina, etc...)

Has anyone else downloaded mario 64 onto their wii and noticed that when completing it (not properly by getting 120 stars but just by beating the last time you fight bowser) that it will show you the credits and then show peach and mario on a cake and stay there? Iv tried pushing every button on the classic controller, not the gamecube one and ended up having to press the home key thus not being able to save my game. anyone know a workaruond? sorry if this has been discussed already, im new and this is my first post :)

So far Gamecube HB is limited to the capabilities/hardware specs of the Gamecube. we're working on that right now.
