How to burn in OS X?

Ok, i have a backup which ends in the extension .wii - when i load it into 'Toast' it asks me if it is a proper image file, to which i say yes, it then brings up a screen giving me the following options

pregap (sectors)
postgap (sectors)
sector size (options are 2048/2056/2332/2336/2352/2448 bytes)

If my memory serves me well from my gamecube days i used to burn those isos with a sector size of 2048.

Anyone with a mac managed to successfully burn one yet who can help out?

you have to convert the .wii to a iso with an unscrambler. But i dont know if there is a mac-version of that application though.

Cheers for the reply - i have a windows setup that i use to burn 360 files so its not a huge problem, would have been nice to have done it on my trusty ol' mac tho!

You can compile the Wii Unscrambler (for unscrambling raw ISO files) on OS X. See instructions here (http://www.marc-seeger.de/?p=194).

So there's no reason why you can't burn Wii games using OS X! ;)

Unscramble to .iso. In Toast, leave pre and postgap at 0, select 2048 for sector size, and burn. Just burned MP8, worked great on my AMD hackintosh.

I use disk utility and Dragon Burn v4.1.2. Both work great. You can use Toast too if you set your sector size to 2048 as suggested above.

i use disk utillity on my hackintosh and have never had a single DRE or anything with my backups

i'm using Disco! Has everything you need and is cheap :) I removed toast after i've seen that app :D
