I installed wiikey friday and it worked great (i played two games), but next day (and now) when i tried to play game i got error: "unable to read disc" :( , so I tried restart my Wii, but noting happened. But when i unplugged my powercable and plugged it back my wiikey worked. My normal games works fine.
I use maxell DVD and burned 4X speed.
Is my Wiikey installed badly? :(
Or what kind problem this is?

sounds like it could be your Discs.. Try a different brand Eg TDK, Ritek G04 etc..

Hmmm good question, not to sure on that. I guess it just might.
Just grab a SD Card and back them up on that for safe keeping.
If you don't have an SD Card yet, they're super cheap. I picked up a Sandisk 64Mb SD Card over here for $8 bucks.
So yeah, I'd recommend doing a format and getting the best quality discs you can get your hands on and see how you go.

same problem here... I noticed this happens mostly when I've played a JAP/US game (not patched) on my PAL Wii and I turn it off after playing. Next time I turn it on nothing will load.
Strange though...

i think a big issue is with the games themselves. Media is a problem, but the burner can play a part. Is it an internal burner? Alot of people are saying they used external writers and they just are not as good.
Strange happening with the chip, we all heard about thhis happening with regionfrii. Same thing, must be something to do with patching certain iso's?

External drives not as good? Are you kidding me?! Where did you hear that? It doesn't even make any sense. A drive is the same whether it is in / out of your computer.
