I installed my Wiikey 2 days ago, I burned the Godfather and it played just like an retail game... Perfect
Next day I burned SSX Blur and when I instert it, the Wii goes Tik TIk Tik .... Tik and after a couple of those click noises it pop's up in the wii Channel and plays fine. During playing you can sometimes here those noises again.
I burned both games a 4x on a TDK 16x DVD+R with nero burning rom. I have had the same problems with my Cube, the same noises, but again not all games. Can anybody tell me if it is a healthy noise or if it isn't normal...

When the chip forces the Wii to run at 6x, it makes that noise. Not sure if the WiiKey has some kind of auto-off feature or something, but anytime it's running at 6x you'll hear that noise. (assuming that's the noise you're describing)

I believe those click noises are the lens adjusting itself to the media. The lens pops up and down to focus onto the disc. On the down stroke it usually just "drops" and that is the clicking sound.
My GC does this as well.

Mine does this when I turn on the power with no disc. It always has.

I have also noticed that is does this more with DVD+r... Try DVD-r and see if its the same...

I usually reburn disc if i got those sounds and they disappear on 2nd burn, but still present on 1st burn.
SO I just write the KLICK< KLICK< CLANKS OFF as bad media or burn ( possibel with defragmented drives ).
Although the klick kilick klanks still function properly but load noises i don;t like to hear.
