Wal-Mart receive Smash Bros. Brawl shipments too

Yet another store has received its Super Smash Bros. Brawl shipment early. This time its a Wal-Mart store, and it was shipped with a special glass display case.

Anyway, we got some shipments in, and this is a picture of one of them. Its the stand that we are setting up. Its not like the one that was shown a few days ago. This one is set up to go in a glass case. A picture soon of that set up.

We also got the boxes of the actual game in too! Yeah, they are pretty sweet, and have a seal that says to not open until March 9th. But its true that we are receiving them early, woo hoo!

Wal-Mart's computers are set up to restrict sales before the release date, so don't count on an ignorant employee accidentally selling it.

Everytime a new release is coming out, especialy as big as this one we recive shipments weeks sometimes a month ahead of time.

This goes for movies games and cds. we have got some dvds and games as early as 2 months before coming out, then getting the relase date changed and alll that garbage.

so the fact that people get so excited over things arriving this early is beyond me, but I guess because ive been working in retail so long new stuff doesnt phase me anymore lol

this is more realistic for a walmart now. glass cases/stand the previous topic about this showed a regular cardboard stand for them..which made no sense.

I think you under-estimate the popularity and frothing demand of Smash Bros. fans. Just look at all the Melee tournaments all over the country... the game alone is somehow MORE popular than the Gamecube!

There's a reason those other games games didn't get so much attention when they shipped early: They weren't Smash Bros.

And before anyone says it: Yes. Halo 3 DID get that much attention.

People are excited about the game surely, but they aint excited about some stores getting it early, that means nothing.

Are you mentally challenged? Someone said that he doesent know why everyone is getting excited just because the shops got it a week early and i said they are excited for the game not just that the damn shops have it.
