Thanks for posting this, I know you said you can't connect to xbox live but since I don't have live it won't be a problem. But do you need to connect to live to install this because I was expecting this to be bigger?
The avatar portion of the update comes from live. So you dont get the avatars until connecting to live which you cant do until the 19thOriginally Posted by problemchild

why file too small,I think must be around 128 MB?and people who got preview install they can connect with live?if I install it I can install games in HDD with need connect with live to active or something?

Its very good. 10 minutes to install dead space.
The update is small because it lacks the avatar portion. That is downloaded after this update is installed. So this file contains everything except avatars! Read up next and youll se I already posted this!
Its also missing the welcome video.
Its a know thing that you will not be able to connect to live until the 19th. It was put out as a warning from Microsoft with the release of this. If someone who updates the firmware, not on the early release list they will not get onto live yet.
